Lavonne Leong is an award-winning futurist, speaker, and facilitator who helps organizations anticipate risks and opportunities, and establish adaptive capacities for an increasingly uncertain future environment. Using strategic foresight, systems thinking, and rigorous sensemaking, Lavonne partners with regional and global clients—including the UN Development Programme, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the East-West Center—to build the capacity to anticipate change, expand possibility, and act with intention.

 

Based in Honolulu, her work focuses on adaptive and transformational futures, mapping the dynamics of complex environments and translating emerging signals into resilient, responsive strategies. She supports teams and communities in designing pathways for long-term transformation while embedding futures thinking into everyday decision-making, enabling organizations to lead change rather than react to it.

 

Lavonne holds an MSc in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston and a DPhil from the University of Oxford.
